The New Renaissance

When citizenM launched their first hotel in Rome, they needed a way to introduce their modern hotel in a city steeped in history. 

To appeal to modern travellers and nod to the ancient location, we scanned and sculpted citizens of Rome as digital marble busts.

The project came to life in an out of home campaign in key Italian cities and a five story window exhibition on the hotel itself. 

Finally a guerilla activation invited people on the streets of Rome to stand on a pedestal, and frame themselves as a modern citizen of Rome.
